North Country Savings Bank Expands Plattsburgh Branch to Full Service
PLATTSBURGH — North Country Savings Bank has expanded its local presence in Plattsburgh, NY, converting what was a lending office into a full-service branch.
The change brings a wider range of services to the location—in addition to lending options, NCSB will now offer deposit accounts with in-person banking support. Customers who previously relied on limited services at the branch can now complete all of their banking in one place.
The branch, now operating out of a newly renovated space at 45 Smithfield Blvd, is designed to provide a more comfortable and accessible experience for customers. The bank has also added local staff, including Relationship Banker Marcy DuBrey, who will join Loan Originator Jennifer Cordick and Loan Processor Bobbie Short as the full-time employees at the branch. Bank officials said the expanded team will help support the branch’s growth and provide more personalized service.
“We’ve seen steady growth in the Plattsburgh area, and expanding to a full-service branch allows us to better meet the needs of customers here,” Coakley said. “It’s about making banking more accessible while continuing to provide the level of personal service people expect from a community bank.”
North Country Savings Bank, headquartered in Canton, NY, has also emphasized its deposit offerings over the past several years, by adding new savings and certificate of deposit options.
The expansion comes during a year of national recognition for the bank. In 2026, NCSB was named one of America’s Best Regional Banks by Newsweek.
NCSB is an equal housing lender, Member FDIC.
